What can I expect during my appointment?
A new patient appointment begins with an overview of your skin concerns and aesthetic goals. I'll perform a facial assessment to identify areas of the face that where shadowing, volume loss, and skin rejuvenation need to be addressed. Baseline pictures will be taken to help us keep track of your journey. Topical numbing cream will be applied topically to the areas being treated prior to injecting.
Is the treatment painful?
Mild discomfort may be experienced but overall the treatment is well tolerated by most. Topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to help minimize discomfort.
Are there any side effects to FILLER?
Common side effects of dermal fillers like the RHA Collection and Radiesse(+) include temporary bruising, swelling, or redness at the injection site. In rare cases, more serious side effects such as vascular occlusion, granuloma formation, or may occur.
What's the downtime like after treatment?
Downtime after dermal filler treatment is 24-48 hours. You will be provided with post-treatment instructions at the end of your appointment as well as a post-treatment kit to help with healing.
